Projecting the Detroit Pistons’ NBA 2K17 player ratings
By Duncan Smith
"Since there’s nothing 2K players can do but wait for the next four weeks or so for the release of the game, we’re going to build the anticipation for fans of the Detroit Pistons (at least the ones who plan on playing the game) with our player rating projections for the entire roster. The Pistons entered the beginning of last season (both in the real world and the 2K world) rated lower than their actual performance would warrant, so we’re going to go over each player’s 2K16 opening and closing rating, as well as what we expect them to be rated in 2K17."

By Duncan Smith
"He was just a couple of doors down from his house when he was stopped by police and court records show he had a blood alcohol content of 0.17, more than twice the legal limit of 0.08 in the state of Michigan. It’s unclear where Hardaway was coming from or if he was alone in the vehicle, and according to Detroit’s Local 4 NBC affiliate, Beverly Hills police have refused to issue a statement on the matter."
SI projects Detroit Pistons’ Andre Drummond as a top-ranked 2020 Olympian
By Duncan Smith
"Players that have USA Basketball ties were given preferences while players who have turned down invites multiple times were eliminated. In order of preference, Andre Drummond came in third on this roster, behind reigning MVP Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors and Kawhi Leonard of the San Antonio Spurs."
