Another sluggish start from the Detroit Pistons puts them in a hole too big to overcome as the Memphis Grizzlies defeat the Detroit Pistons 98-86.

The Detroit Pistons took another tough loss, this time at the hands of the visiting Memphis Grizzlies. The Pistons fell behind big early after Reggie Jackson had to leave just two minutes into the game with a sore knee, and never recovered.

While Jackson returned and the Pistons make a comeback and got to within four points in the second quarter, the Grizzlies were just too much in spite of playing an overtime game the night before against the Boston Celtics.

A-. Reggie Jackson was the catalyst for second quarter run after missing almost the entire first quarter. He tweaked his knee around the nine minute mark, and it took a while for him to get his legs under him. He seems to be slowly coming back to form, and he hustled hard in this game. His defense was on point, and he was tied with <a rel=. PG. Detroit Pistons. REGGIE JACKSON

B. Jon Leuer has been solid and consistent during this down stretch for the Pistons, and has provided a nice spark off the bench for the Pistons, now if his teammates could play anything remotely close to him. The fact that he got into a car accident just hours before the game makes his performance that much better.. PF. Detroit Pistons. JON LEUER

D+. Van Gundy needs to get his team to come out with the same energy that they had in the second quarter, and the Pistons have continously started slow in the past couple of games. Also, the move to not play Harris in the second quarter after his hot start, but play Morris baffled me. As there was no reason why Morris should have gotten 12 more minutes than Harris.. Head Coach.
