The Detroit Pistons held off the Brooklyn Nets 90-89 to keep their slim playoff hopes alive.
The Detroit Pistons and Brooklyn Nets engaged in a rock fight on Thursday night as neither team shot the ball well and the defense wasn’t really causing this offensive struggle. The Pistons were down 63-59 going into the fourth quarter but were able to string together a good offensive quarter scoring 31 points and making some big plays down the stretch.
Ish Smith made a big three pointer to put the Pistons ahead by one with under a minute to go. The Pistons were able to get a few stops at the end of the game and make their free throws to hold on to the win.
