The Detroit Pistons held off the Brooklyn Nets 90-89 to keep their slim playoff hopes alive.

The Detroit Pistons and Brooklyn Nets engaged in a rock fight on Thursday night as neither team shot the ball well and the defense wasn’t really causing this offensive struggle.  The Pistons were down 63-59 going into the fourth quarter but were able to string together a good offensive quarter scoring 31 points and making some big plays down the stretch.

Ish Smith made a big three pointer to put the Pistons ahead by one with under a minute to go.  The Pistons were able to get a few stops at the end of the game and make their free throws to hold on to the win.

B. Stan Van Gundy keeps moving around guys to try new lineups out though he pretty much has tried every lineup combination this season. Instead of starting Jon Leuer, he should have started Tobias Harris as Harris is the better player and plays very well when partnered up with Ish Smith. He went with Darrun Hilliard in the fourth quarter over Stanley Johnson which turned out to be the right move as Hilliard made a few plays down the stretch for the Pistons.. Head Coach.
