The Detroit Pistons have struggled in a lot of areas, but if you had to pick just one, what is the team’s biggest need?

The Detroit Pistons $80 million point guard has some serious long-term and durability questions.

Their $120 million center is severely limited and may have reached his ceiling.

Their backup point guard is a streaky scorer, they lack a go-to scorer, and there really isn’t a player that has superstar potential. Oh, and their promising second year small forward seems to be in constant conflict with the head coach.

Needless to say, this roster is going to be evaluated from top to bottom this offseason.

With all of that said, what is the Pistons biggest offseason need?

You could go in a number of directions. My answer, is point guard, though a go-to scorer was a close second.

Simply put, I think an offense lead by Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Tobias Harris can get it done offensively. Add in a facilitating point guard that can get his own shot off and the team could really clikc offensively.

In a perfect world, the Pistons acquire the number one overall pick and select a superstar talent. Let’s hope that happens, because elite-level point guards (and elite-level talent for that matter) doesn’t grow on trees.
