The Detroit Pistons have decided to give their youth some burn for the remainder of the season. Would you rather the Pistons lose out or see the young players perform well?

Well Detroit Pistons’ fans, the Pistons’ tank project took a detour against the Houston Rockets on Friday night with a surprising win from the Pistons on the road.

Even more surprising, the Pistons played as well as they have the last few months, and with rookies and second-year players getting most of the burn, no less.

That got me thinking, would you rather see the Pistons lose out and finish with the 10th or 11th pick, or, would you rather see the team perform well behind big performances from the young guns?

For me, I think I would rather see strong performances from Henry Ellenson, Stanley Johnson, and Boban Marjanovic again.

Hopefully we see the young players play well and the team still loses. With the Memphis Grizzlies (tonight) and the Washington Wizards coming up, there’s a strong possibility the Pistons lose at least two out of their last three. (The other game is against the Orlando Magic).

On the other end of the spectrum, the more the Pistons win the lesser their chances of winning a top-three pick are. Without a clear-cut super talent on the team, that really hurts, even if their chances aren’t that great to begin with.
