Tonight marks the end of an era as the Pistons will play in the Palace for the final time. Will the team continue their two-game win streak?

The Detroit Pistons have won two straight road games for the first time since late November and much of it has happened with their regulars playing far less minutes than usual. Henry Ellenson, Reggie Bullock and Boban Marjanovic have all played significant roles during the streak and will look to continue that tonight.

More from PistonPowered

Reggie Bullock, starting in place of Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, posted 14 points on 5-8 shooting.

Fan favorite Boban Marjanovic had another solid outing last night in Memphis with 14 points and 10 rebounds. He is really looking like a capable backup center going into next season.

The Wizards are locked into the playoffs as the Eastern Conference’s fourth seed. The teams have split their first two meetings of the season 1-1. The Wizards come in to town winning 6 of their last 10. John Wall will need to be contained as he leads the team with 23 points and 10.7 assists per game.

Stan Van Gundy is in full experimentation mode and I expect that to continue tonight. While some may argue that these wins are bad for draft lottery position, it has been some of the most fun Pistons basketball to watch this season. Starting lineups have not been released but look for Ellenson and Boban to play 20-24 minutes again tonight.

It would be nice to see the Palace host a win it’s final game no matter the draft implications. There is a lot of history in the building and it will be packed tonight. Isiah Thomas and other Detroit Pistons legends are scheduled to appear and here’s to hoping The Palace gets sent off in a winning fashion.
