Who do you want to see the Detroit Pistons draft?

With the NBA lottery a month away today, Detroit Pistons’ fans still have hope that they could net a top-three pick. So the question of the day is, out of anyone in the draft, who do you want to see the Pistons draft most?

The Detroit Pistons will likely enter the 2017 NBA draft with the 12th overall pick. But there’s a 2.5% chance the Pistons finish with a top-three pick and a .7% chance they finish with the top pick overall.

This is a fun time for basketball fans because their hope–however far fetched it might be–is still alive that their team can get the top overall pick.

With that in mind, who would you like to see the Pistons draft most?

My answer, is Markelle Fultz.

I do think Jackson gets back to 100% next season. I also think the Pistons want to move on from Jackson if they have a clear-cut option to replace him.

By adding Fultz, the Pistons can move on from Jackson and his contract and more importantly, the team can replace him with a better projected talent long-term.

Moreover, the Pistons biggest weakness was probably their three-point shooting and lack of top flight talent on the roster.

By adding Fultz, the Pistons solve almost all of their needs.

My next pick, if I had to pick from a lower tier of players, would probably be Malik Monk for many of the same reasons.
