The Detroit Pistons will be picking in the lottery in the upcoming NBA draft, we just don’t know where yet. If they land in the late lottery, it looks like the team is interesting in Gonzaga product Zach Collins.
The Detroit Pistons could use some shooting. They could also use some more defense and athleticism.
Luckily for them, there’s a prospect who can do all of these things, freshman Zach Collins out of Gonzaga.
For those that like the idea of Collins, I have good news–the Pistons are reportedly interested.
I find out #Pistons like this guy after I write this: Gonzaga's Zach Collins draws Laimbeer comparison https://t.co/NsVC30pjjS via @freep

This should only fuel the Collins to the Pistons buzz as Chad Ford has already mocked Collins to the Pistons.
Collins was insanely productive his freshman year at Gonzaga he’s got a ton of upside, potentially Karl Anthony-Towns-type of upside.
I love that the Pistons are interested in Collins, particularly because there aren’t many prospects in the late lottery that excite me.
That said, I would be shocked if Collins fell outside the top-10.
What do you think of the interest in Collins, given the Pistons current nucleus? If Collins is drafted, I think the Pistons move Jon Leuer to A) clear a roster spot, and B) clear cap space.
