The Detroit Pistons were in attendance for the annual NBA combine. Don’t worry Pistons’ fans, we got you. Here’s a list of players the team has met with, per Keith Langlois of detroitpistons.com.
The Detroit Pistons don’t know where they will be picking in the upcoming NBA draft. They’ll find that out next Tuesday. That doesn’t mean, however, that they aren’t heavily underway in their scouting.
This week, the week of the NBA combine, gave the Pistons’ staff a good opportunity to meet with players and conduct interviews–an important part of the process.
Here’s a list of players the Pistons have been confirmed to have met with, via Keith Langlois:
North Carolina 7-foot freshman Tony Bradley, still debating whether to stay in draft, met with #Pistons, he says

Michigan's Mo Wagner met with #Pistons. He's looking for some assurance he'll go in first round; otherwise too much appeal in return to U-M

Justin Jackson "thinks" he has interview with #Pistons tomorrow. Justin Patton does have one. T.J. Leaf said no interview set with them.

Indiana's OG Anunoby did not meet with the #Pistons, but Gonzaga's Zach Collins did, he said.

Ike Anigbogu and Bam Adebayo - say that real fast - both met with #Pistons. Terrance Ferguson and Jarrett Allen say they did not.

This list provides us with an idea of whom the Pistons are interested in. What we don’t know is how interested they are in these players, or who they are interested in beyond this list.
That said, this is a good point of reference for us.
One obvious takeaway is that the Pistons interest in Zach Collins appears to be real, despite Collins likely being out of reach for the team, assuming they eventually pick at 12. Should the Pistons pick at 12, he would be a guy the Pistons might look to trade up to get.

Another takeaway is that the Pistons weren’t mentioned to have met with shooting guard Terrance Ferguson. That’s surprising given the team’s lack of depth at the wing, shooting overall, and big-time athleticism.
