Luke Kennard College Summary, age 20 via DraftExpress.com:

  • Strengths: Positional size, Scoring versatility, feel for the game, productivity, has the size to hold up defensively, great footwork, plays well on or off ball, pick and roll threat, can finish with either hand, vision, good pick and role passer, quick decisions with ball, excellent feel, smart off ball defender, plays well in clutch, high confidence.
  • Weaknesses: Defensive upside, Creating vs NBA defense, finishing in traffic, defensive effort, short wingspan, not quick enough to blow by defenders or stay in front on defense.

Kennard, like the other prospects covered thus far, lacked athleticism, but was highly efficient in college.

He also excelled in making quick decisions and creating offense for himself, perhaps more so than either Thompson or Booker. Time will tell how NBA-ready Kennard will be, but he projects to be the most well rounded offensive talent of the three shooters going into his rookie season.
