The Detroit Pistons again found themselves in a huge hole, this time a 21 point deficit to the Philadelphia 76ers, and were unable to complete a comeback to fall to 2-2 on the season.

The young Philadelphia stars shone bright in their first win of the season: Joel Embiid was unguardable at times and Ben Simmons accumulated his first career triple double.
