Andre Drummond and company are looking to bounce back after handing the Philadelphia 76ers their first win of the season on Monday.

Against a Timberwolves team who suffered a blowout loss at home? It wouldn’t be surprising.

Minnesota lost 130-107 at home to the Indiana Pacers, allowing them to shoot 66 percent from the field.

It seems offense will be the key against this defensive lacking Minnesota team, who’s opponents are averaging 111.8 points per game. That ranks them 23rd in the league thus far.

Big man Andre Drummond will be on the burner tonight, set to match up with Timberwolves center Karl-Anthony Towns. After some lapses defensively against the 76ers’, he can regroup defensively with a greater effort. Towns is averaging 23.3 points per game.

Shooting guard Avery Bradley will likely spend most minutes guarding forward Andrew Wiggins, as Jimmy Butler is out.

It will be Tobias Harris’ game to own, as the Timberwolves lowly defense and Butler’s absence make a great situation for him to score. He’s averaging 21 points per game.

Point guard Reggie Jackson will look to continue his production, now averaging 16.5 points and 6.8 assists in four games. He’s looking like his old self, and leads Detroit in net rating at +8.1.

With veteran Jamal Crawford leading the Minnesota bench, Detroit’s second unit is set to make a big impact. Backups Ish Smith, Luke Kennard, and Anthony Tolliver have all seen big minutes and produced through the first four games.

Detroit has the chance to capture a strong home win tonight. Minnesota is coming off a back-to-back blowout, and the Pistons are well rested.

As important as it is to contain the Timberwolves’ young stars, pushing a fast paced and efficient offense will eventually earn them a victory.
