Detroit Pistons Forward, Jon Leuer, is out 2-4 more weeks per multiple reports. Leuer has missed the entire month of November with an ankle injury.

As the second-place Detroit Pistons are suiting up in San Antonio to play the third-place San Antonio Spurs , the Detroit Pistons will be without Forward, Jon Leuer, for at least 2-4 more weeks with a left ankle injury.

Per multiple reports, Leuer will be receiving an injection in his left ankle after undergoing an MRI last week.

Jon Leuer has missed the entire month of November after suffering a sprained ankle against the Los Angeles Lakers, yet in that span the Pistons have gone 9-3 and have secured their place at the top of the Eastern Conference.

Leuer sought out a second opinion last week in Indianapolis (per Vince Ellis of the Detroit Free Press). The timetable for Leuer’s return has constantly been in flux since he went down with the injury, so there should be no surprise if this timetable changes once again.

The Pistons are currently 0-2 to start the month of December amidst a tough road trip concluding with a game at Little Caesar’s Arena against the defending champion, Golden State Warriors.

During the few games he has managed to play this season, Jon Leuer is averaging 5.4 points per game, 4.0 rebounds per game, and has a defensive rating of 96.9.

Leuer historically has been an above-average rebounder and a passable defender while he’s on the court. However, Leuer’s replacements have performed well this season. Anthony Tolliver has been shooting lights-out and Eric Moreland has been showing flashes of defensive brilliance for a young big man.

The Detroit Pistons take on the San Antonio Spurs at the AT&T Center tonight at 8:30 EST. The game will be broadcast locally on Fox Sports Detroit.
