Per the report from TMZ Sports, the woman was inebriated and unconscious while Avery Bradley allegedly assaulted her. The woman contacted Bradley shortly after the incident and accused him of sexual assault.
Bradley officially entered into a confidentiality agreement with the victim, but per TMZ Sports the settlement included an upwards of $400,000 payout for the victim.
Bradley’s attorney, Brian Wolf of Lavely & Singer, stated:
"“Mr. Bradley absolutely denies having engaged in wrongdoing whatsoever. The confidentiality agreement specifically refutes and denies the validity of all allegations of any wrongful conduct by Mr. Bradley. The sole purpose of the agreement was to protect the reputation and privacy of Mr. Bradley and his family.”"
Wolf intends to investigate the leaking of the story and violation of the confidentiality agreement.
"“My office will take all appropriate action against all persons involved in the wrongful disclosure of this agreement. We will conduct a thorough investigation into who is responsible for this wrongful disclosure.”"
Avery Bradley is currently nursing an injured groin and is expected to return to action sometime in the next month.
