Over the past week or so, I had the unique opportunity to appear on (*LeBron James voice*) not ONE, not TWO, but THREE podcasts to discuss and rant about the Pistons and a myriad of other topics.
2 Gods and a Goose:
The first podcast I had the chance to appear on is near and dear to my heart because…well..it’s MY podcast!
My co-host Keith Elliot and I started this podcast in 2018 with the idea of covering a wide range of topics in sports, but have really gravitated towards what connected us together in the first place: the NBA and Detroit Pistons basketball.
We discussed the Pistons’ deadline deals, the future outlook for the Pistons, and various general NBA topics.
On this episode, we feature segments with:
- A Detroit Bad Boys writer (boo)
- Duncan Smith of The Athletic and BballBreakdown (former editor of PistonPowered)
- Joe Borelli – host of the Superflight Podcast, The Dunk Tales Podcast, and noted 76ers fan
Next episode, we’re looking forward to having Detroit News’ Rod Beard and other interesting guests.
You can find the podcast on iTunes by searching “2 Gods and a Goose.” The podcast is available for download on iTunes and Stitcher (for our Android friends).
Locked On Pistons:
If you aren’t yet familiar with Locked On Pistons, you need to acquaint yourself as soon as possible. The Locked On network of podcasts are found across sports and the Locked On Pistons podcast is one of the premier Detroit Pistons podcasts – featuring local beat writers, ESPN and other national writers, as well as former players.
Just last week, Corliss Williamson appeared on Locked On Pistons to discuss the Blake Griffin trade and his favorite memories from his time in Detroit.
I was given the opportunity to appear with Matt Schoch, host of Locked On Pistons, to discuss Stan Van Gundy’s front office blunders, training staff issues and potential concerns, and other general Pistons talk.
Locked On Pistons is on iTunes and available for download.
Pick and Flow Podcast:

This was a very special episode of the Pick and Flow podcast not only because it featured the rare Pistons talk, but it was the last episode of the series. The podcast will be rebranded and I have committed to discuss basketball with Trevor and Ben on the inaugural episode of the new podcast.
During this episode, however, we rant about the post-trade deadline moves by the Detroit Pistons and namely the reactions from a certain public figure in Detroit. We also discuss Blake Griffin’s fit, playoff outlook, and a bunch of other topics. This is one of my favorite podcasts to appear on and you can find the podcast on iTunes by searching “Pick and Flow Podcast.”
