Would You Rather: Ex-Detroit Pistons Edition

The Detroit Pistons have lost the spark they gained at the trade deadline. They aren’t playing much, if any, better than the Pistons of earlier this season. Would you rather have those players, or any ex-Pistons back?

There are 19 active players around the league that have played a role on the Detroit Pistons at one point or another (sorry Brice Johnson, I know you played a little for the Pistons but not enough for me to consider you in this piece).

The Pistons lost these players for a variety of reason, through trades or free agency, and I am not suggesting that the Pistons could get these players back, or that they shouldn’t have left.

In this slide show we will examine take the best ex-Pistons at each position and play a little game of “Would you rather” against their current Pistons counterpart.

A couple of caveats.

I will try to focus on how each player is playing right now.  Not their past accolades or future potential.

Also, I will not look at salary. Of course salary is important when building a team, but as a fan, I simply don’t care how much these guys are getting paid. This is all about how they are playing.
