Andre Drummond adding a three-point shot to his game? That’s scary for the rest of the NBA to think about.

Check out the footage of Andre Drummond apparently working on his game in a new way.

Last season he managed to expand his game. It led to him being more involved on the offensive end of the floor.

The obvious one was the free throws. In years past, Drummond was being pulled off the floor because opposing teams would intentionally foul him late in games to claw their way back.

He shot 60 percent from the line last year. Drummond shot 38 percent from the line a year before that. This allowed him to be more versatile in Detroit’s offense.

Drummond also improved with his ability to create opportunities for his teammates. He had a career high in assists (237) this year because of his new and improved passing skills.

Drummond didn’t have 200 assists in the previous two seasons before this one.

He’s been known for his ability to rebound the ball already. Drummond also had a career high in rebounds this season as a whole.

Many people tend to forget that he’s still just 24 years old and has a lot time to improve his game. Adding a perimeter game would be one heck of a way to silence some of his critics.

Fans, including myself, have given him a lot of criticism for not having the skills of a modern day big man in the NBA.

Well, at least skills of the great ones. If you’re getting paid like a superstar, be a superstar. Anthony Davis and Kristaps Porzingis are a few of those modern day big men that come to mind.

Drummond could average 20+ points and 15+ rebounds a game next season if he could put this skill to use. Just sit and digest that for a second. Drummond would finally silence all of his doubters.

Fun fact: Andre Drummond is 5-30 in his career from long range.
