Detroit Pistons: Still-too-early starting lineup projections
The Detroit Pistons’ roster is all but set. Free agency and Summer League are winding down. Here are my updated (and still too early) starting lineup projections.
Welcome to the second installment of my starting lineup projections for the Detroit Pistons!
If you missed the highly controversial first edition, you can catch up right here. Don’t worry, I’m also here to admit my mistakes. I have been proven wrong twice since I last made my picks.
First, my assumption that one could print out Detroit’s roster, bury it in their backyard, dig it up in three months, and that it would still look the same, was debunked rather quickly.
Second, I assumed that the Pistons wouldn’t pick up Reggie Bullock’s team option for this year. They hadn’t done so at the time, which is why he wasn’t in my initial projections.
This seemed to anger some readers (check the comment section on that post). Needless to say, Detroit picked up his option on July 15.
I stand corrected, and I’m in the process of (as the kids say) taking this “L.”
Now, here are your still-too-early starting lineup predictions for 2018-19.
