The Detroit Pistons had their 2018-2019 regular season schedule released yesterday. December looks to be the most challenging month of their schedule.

The Detroit Pistons finally know what their regular season schedule will look like. There will be some games to keep an eye on throughout the season.

There can be a month within a schedule that will define a team’s season. It will either set them back and they never recover. On the other hand, they gain steam and go on a run.

That month of the schedule for the Detroit Pistons will be in December. They will face a lot of tough teams and have to weather the storm.

The month of December

Their first two games of the month are at home. The Pistons will see the defending-champion Golden State Warriors on December 1. This is always an entertaining game. The Pistons tend to give the Warriors a tough time when they meet.

The next one is against Russell Westbrook and the Oklahoma City Thunder. They will see two other western conference playoff teams in December.

They have a home game on December 9 against the New Orleans Pelicans and a road game on December 19 against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

During the month of December, the Pistons will play the Philadelphia 76ers twice. They had Detroit’s number last season. Philadelphia won all four match-ups between the two teams.

The Pistons will also take on the Milwaukee Bucks twice. They split four games with the Bucks. These games are always important because they play within the same division.

They will see three other playoff games from the east in December. The Boston Celtics, the Indian Pacers, and the Washington Wizards will play the Pistons during the month.

In December, 11 out of their 15 games are against teams that were in the playoffs last season. The Detroit Pistons will need to perform well in the month of December if they want to get back to the playoffs next season.
