December 1 vs. Golden State Warriors

How can you leave the defending champions off this list? The Golden State Warriors and the Detroit Pistons have actually played in some very entertaining match-ups over the last few seasons.

The Pistons and Warriors split the season series last year. Detroit won on the road at Oracle Arena after a great performance by former Pistons guard Avery Bradley.

The Warriors were able to come to Little Caesar’s Arena and escape narrowly in their next meeting. Both match-ups were extremely competitive.

Looking at level of importance, these games might not mean much to some people. However, I believe that playing the Warriors can really help you figure out where your team is at.

The Warriors will test your defense by constantly stretching it to the perimeter. Golden State also has players like Draymond Green that will make it hard to get a basket at times.

There’s a reason they’ve won three out of the last four NBA championships. You have to be able to be great on both ends of the floor.
