January 9 at Los Angeles Lakers

LeBron James and his new team will play host to the Detroit Pistons in early January. This game is highlighted on my calendar for a couple of reasons.

Why not look forward to a game against a team with one of the best to ever play the sport?

This is the first time that the Detroit Pistons will play against James now that he’s out of Cleveland. An overwhelming majority of the east must have had a sigh of relief after he made his decision to go west.

James has owned the Pistons throughout his career along with much of the eastern conference. How will James look with his new team against Detroit?

What makes this game even more interesting is the ending to one of the games between these two teams from last year.

Blake Griffin and Lonzo Ball got physical with each other during a game last season. It will interesting as to whether or not tensions are high again when the two teams meet.
