Feeling lucky? A new NBA season is upon us, and Steven Garcia breaks down the gambling odds surrounding the Detroit Pistons in 2018-19.

On May 14, 2018 the Supreme Court lifted the federal ban on sports gambling.
To honor this splendid declaration, I’ll be conducting my 2018-19 Detroit Pistons season preview using select Las Vegas odds as a barometer for team success.

Vegas is always eerily accurate with their predictions, so I think this is a fun, mental exercise to compare my expectations.

Disclaimer: Unfortunately, I’m an idiot and if I was you, I would not actually wager on any of my predictions or projections. Well, maybe this next one, because this is a gimme!
