Last season, the Detroit Pistons took care of business against a Bulls team that’s currently searching for a new identity as an organization.

They won three out of the four season match-ups and did so convincingly. Those three wins were all by double-digits. The Pistons finished fourth in the central division last season while the Bulls finished fifth.

Injury Report

The Bulls could potentially be without four players from their roster for Saturday’s match-up with the Detroit Pistons. The biggest of the four is Kris Dunn (personal).

Denzel Valentine missed the season opener with an ankle injury. He did not practice today with the team. Lauri Markkanen, a key contributor from last season, has an elbow injury that will likely keep him out until November.

Bulls center Omer Asik is out indefinitely as well.

The Detroit Pistons were without two of their starters on opening night. Reggie Bullock (flu) and Stanley Johnson (toe) are both expected to be back for Saturday’s game against the Bulls.
