The Detroit Pistons look to end their four-game losing streak back at home against the Miami Heat. This is their first meeting of the season.

The Detroit Pistons haven’t looked like the team that started 4-0 this season. They have lost four straight games for many different reasons.

They haven’t been consistent on the offensive or defensive end of the floor. Slow starts have plagued this team as well.

More. Embiid is franchise’s latest foe, and he’s just getting started. light

They have a chance to redeem themselves and get back to their winning ways tonight. The Miami Heat travel to Little Caesar’s Arena in downtown Detroit looking to change their fortune as well.

They’ve lost three games in a row.

These two teams have split their last eight games. The Pistons and Heat are two teams that jockeyed for position in the bottom third of the playoff seeding.

Detroit missed the postseason last year while the Heat were the sixth seed. They faced the Philadelphia 76ers and virtually stood no chance. They lost the series in five games.

Josh Richardson is leading the Heat in scoring through their first eight games. He’s averaging 20 points per game. Blake Griffin leads the Pistons in scoring with 28 points per game.

Injury Report

The Detroit Pistons are looking at a couple injuries to their back court. Starting shooting guard will be a game-time decision for tonight’s game. He injured his ankle against the Brooklyn Nets.

Luke Kennard will be out for tonight’s game. He injured his shoulder against the Cleveland Cavaliers back on October 25 and is expected to miss at least two weeks.

The Miami Heat are looking at some injuries as well early on this season.

Goran Dragic will end up playing tonight despite suffering a toe injury. Luckily for the Pistons, Miami will be without their starting center Hassan Whiteside.

He’s currently deal with a knee injury.

Next. Pistons need more from Reggie Jackson to be successful. dark
