The Detroit Pistons come in fifth in our very first eastern conference power rankings. Find out where the rest of the teams in the east fall.

The Detroit Pistons have been on an absolute tear.

They are winners in seven out of their last eight games and have beat some quality opponents during that stretch.

They were able to knock off the Golden State Warriors in front of a giant crowd at Little Caesar’s Arena on Saturday night in downtown Detroit.

Did it win some people over? Is this team for real under new head coach Dwane Casey?

They have another stiff test tonight at home as they end their six-game home stand against the Oklahoma City Thunder. They come into tonight’s game with a 14-7 record and are winners in their last two games.

The month of December is pretty intimidating as they face many teams with winning records.

To be good, you have to beat good teams. The Pistons have caught fire at the right time of the season.
