After a six-game home stand where the Detroit Pistons managed to go 5-1, the Detroit Pistons head away to Milwaukee to take on the Bucks.

The Detroit Pistons (13-8) will look to redeem themselves after coming off their worst loss of the season 110-83 to the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Milwaukee Bucks (15-7) are coming off a 4 day break after their overtime loss to the New York Knicks.

The Detroit Pistons will have their work cut out for them trying to contain Milwaukee Bucks offense which is currently first in the NBA with a 115.5 offensive rating.

They also currently hold the best net rating in the NBA at 9.6 and lead it by a whopping two points.

The Pistons will also have their work cut out on offense as the Milwaukee Bucks currently own the sixth best defense in the league, although the Detroit Pistons could also cause problems for teams as they own the ninth best defense in the NBA.

For the Detroit Pistons to have any chance at getting the spoils at the end of the game, they will have to contain Giannis Antetokounmpo, so expect to see a lot of Stanley Johnson with that match up, he may potentially even match minutes with him.

The Pistons will also have to work on establishing themselves inside with both Blake Griffin and Andre Drummond working the rim, as well as the other players making sure to attack the rim.

The Milwaukee Bucks are a bit thin and light inside and the Detroit Pistons could really do some damage inside and establish some dominance, if they could then contain Milwaukee’s offense, they’ll be in with a shot.

Injury Report

Detroit Pistons: Reggie Bullock (Left Ankle Sprain) ruled out of tonight’s game

Milwaukee Bucks: Ersan Ilyasova (Concussion) is doubtful, John Henson (Wrist) remains out.

Likely Starters

Detroit Pistons: Reggie Jackson, Luke Kennard, Stanley Johnson, Blake Griffin, Andre Drummond

Milwaukee Bucks: Eric Bledsoe, Malcolm Brogdon, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Khris Middleton, Brook Lopez

I expect Andre Drummond to put up some eye-popping numbers as he has a favourable matchup there, and if Blake Griffin has Khris Middleton on him then I expect Blake to score in bunches.

I have a funny feeling that Detroit will take this game, otherwise I expect a close one!
