The Detroit Pistons are approaching the 2019 NBA trade deadline with more questions than answers. The path they choose will change the future of this team.

The Detroit Pistons are approaching the 2019 NBA trade deadline with more questions than answers. Their record sits at 21-26, and overall this season has been a disappointment after coming in with high expectations. However, they are still somehow only one and a half games out of the playoffs, and the path they choose at this year’s deadline will affect this team for years in the future.

If you asked 100 Pistons fans what they think the team should do at the trade deadline, you would probably get 100 different answers. The fan base is very split on how this team should look going forward, and what the team’s priorities should be. As limited as the Pistons assets are, there are still a number of directions they could take, all of which would have very different ramifications for this team in the future.
