The Detroit Pistons drop another game 115-105 as the Milwaukee Bucks come into Little Caesars Arena and sweep the season series.

After winning one of only three games in their 3 game road trip; the Detroit Pistons came home to take on the Bucks. The Pistons had come home after a 3 day break looking to turnaround the season.

The Bucks on the other hand came into Detroit looking for a bounce-back game after dropping a close game versus the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Dwane Casey had to think of a creative starting lineup with an ankle injury from Reggie Bullock. Langston Galloway took the starting shooting guard position tonight for Bruce Brown; who came off the bench. And Glenn Robinson III took over for the injured Bullock.

First Half

The first quarter was not pretty as you can imagine. The Bucks were making almost every shot no matter where they were shooting. Brook Lopez was raining threes, Khris Middleton hitting mid-range after mid-range shot, and even Giannis Antetokounmpo hit a three. They scored 30 points in the quarter.

The Pistons on the other hand were keeping up offensively for most of the quarter. Blake and Andre were both carrying the scoring load for the most part. Luke Kennard came in and scored 5 points in 4 minutes. They scored 22 points in the quarter.

Well if you thought the first quarter was awful for the Pistons; the second quarter was probably worse.

The quarter started well for the Pistons. Khyri Thomas came in and immediately hit a three. Stanley Johnson also hits a three on the next possession.  Kennard is hitting his shots and even Zaza Pachulia is getting in on the action offensively.

Things would only go downhill from there. The score is 35-35 and that’s the closest the Pistons would get until the Bucks run away with this game.

D.J. Wilson scored 7 of his 9 points of the game in the second quarter. The Pistons went down 17 points at one point in the second quarter even after tying the game 35-35. Bucks would eventually have a 13 point lead at halftime.

Halftime

Pistons Owner Tom Gores spoke with media about the team’s position right now and possible trades.

Gores continues to believe in this team and hopes they can make a push for a playoff spot. He wants to win now; buying and selling is on the table for the Pistons.

Second Half

Pistons defense would somewhat pickup in the third quarter. Reggie Jackson was balling in the third quarter as he had 12 points in the third. He sparked the Pistons to pull within 4 points.

The Bucks would finish the quarter strong. Giannis was getting everything he wanted at the rim. He was also impacting the game defensively.  They pulled away from the Pistons again and took a 12 point lead to the fourth.

To the fourth the Pistons went. Did they have enough to spark a comeback? If you guessed no, you’re correct. Detroit fell down 21 points before Casey threw Andre Drummond back into the game. But it would be too late. Bucks finished the game with a win over Detroit 115-105

Takeaways

Giannis Antetokounmpo finished the game with a near triple double. He had 21 points 11 assists, 8 rebounds, 3 steals, and 2 blocks.

Reggie Jackson was easily the best Piston tonight. He had 25 points and 5 assists.
