The Detroit Pistons head into the off-season with the task of trying to improve this team, while also being in salary cap hell.
The Pistons have a few players coming off the books, however, and also have a few players that become expiring contracts once the off-season officially starts this summer. The trades Ed Stefanski did at the trade deadline did free up some space for the Pistons this off-season to make moves, but they’ll still have to make some tough (or maybe not so tough) decisions with some of their own players.
There are three players I believe you can bet on not wearing a Motor City uniform next season. However, for the sake of this article, we are not going to count veterans like Jose Calderon and Zaza Pachulia. I’m going to keep this within players who were regular rotation pieces this year, which means I will also not be including Glenn Robinson III, who is likely to be gone as well.
