TORONTO, ON – NOVEMBER 14: Head Coach Dwane Casey of the Detroit Pistons acknowledges the crowd during an NBA game against the Toronto Raptors at Scotiabank Arena on November 14, 2018 (Photo by Vaughn Ridley/Getty Images) /

Dwane Casey is Captain America!

Captain America is one of the best Avengers. He is also known as Steve Rodgers. Captain America is a supersoldier who fought in World War II. During World War II he was trapped in a block of ice until the present day in the 21st century.

His weapon of choice is a shield that he wields around made of a strong steel alloy. And he will throw it around as a weapon.

Dwane Casey doesn’t carry around a shield. And he was about 15 years short of being born in World War II. But one thing that Casey does have is a shield on defense. He draws up the defense to protect his team from losing games.

Casey gives off a hero-type vibe. He will try to will his team from being disappointed and down on themselves when things aren’t going their way. And most of the time give a pep speech that will get the team rolling!
