Evan Fournier!

The least exciting of the three, Evan Fournier took a step backwards this season for the Magic. He averaged 15.1 points per game, 3.2 rebounds, and 3.6 assists on 43.8 percent shooting from the field and 34 percent from three.

His points dropped to his lowest since the 2014-15 season. And his three-point percentage was at his lowest of his career.

The Orlando Magic owe him 17 million next season. And 17 million in the season after if Fournier decides opt in his player option.

Overall Fournier has spent the past 5 seasons of his career with the Magic and has only seen the playoffs once during that stretch. The Magic made the playoffs this season as the 7th seed. He struggled to do much of anything in the playoffs. He averaged 12.4 points and shot 23.5 percent shooting from three in the 5 games against the Toronto Raptors.

Fournier is a 6’7 wing player that can help the Pistons on offense. Maybe a new scene in Detroit where he has to do less can help him. He’s 26 years of age and still has potential to grow.

The Pistons could offer something packaged around Jon Leuer, Langston Galloway, and their 15th overall pick in exchanged for Fournier. The Magic get a near lottery pick and salary cap relief at the end of next season.
