Seth Curry

Seth Curry isn’t to be confused with Steph Curry but still is a pretty damn good player. Along with the ball-handling and slashing the Pistons need, Detroit also desperately need some shooting around Griffin and Drummond.

The Detroit Pistons ranked sixth in the NBA in three-point attempts a game but ranked 23rd in three-point percentage. The need for a shooter in Dwane Casey’s offense is in high regard.

Signing Curry would absolutely go a long way. Curry is coming off a season with the Portland Trailblazers that saw him shoot 45 percent from long distance on 3.4 attempts a game.

Next. Should the Pistons be involved in an AD trade?. dark

If the Pistons do indeed decide to move on from Smith in free agency, Curry should be high on the list of point guards to replace him. The three-point shot is not a question, as you could just assume by the last name. Curry is a career 43.9 percent shooter from beyond the arc in his five NBA seasons.

Curry is 28 years old and could get paid more than the Pistons are willing to offer. I don’t believe Curry is good enough for the Pistons to overpay for, but if Curry is in their ballpark contract-wise, don’t be shocked to have the Curry family in Detroit next year.
