Khyri Thomas

Khyri Thomas did not get many chances to prove himself this season being stuck behind a long list of players on the depth charts. Because of this, most of Thomas’ playing time this season was logged for the Grand Rapids Drive, the Pistons G-League affiliate.

When Thomas did get minutes with the Pistons it was largely during garbage time where his play would have no impact on the outcomes of the games. Thomas would make the most of his minimal minutes with the Pistons coming into games firing away confidently and showing that he had a decent shooting stroke.

Thomas’ best game of the season came against the Milwaukee Bucks when he set his NBA career high of 13 points to go along with a rebound and a steal. While these numbers are not eye popping, Thomas did not get much of a chance to shine this season. If you have seen his G-League highlights or followed the summer league this season you will know that Khyri is a confident scorer and I would love to see Casey find some minutes for him this upcoming season.

Best Game of Season:
