NBA fans must have lost count by now on how many times they have seen Blake get a put-back poster like this here. Similar to the finish he had as a Clipper over Pau Gasol a few years ago, Griffin recreates the play.

Griffin may be the undisputed put-back dunk king in the NBA, countless time we have seen plays like this, where he corals a big rebound and throws it down over anyone unfortunate enough to be under him at that moment.

Here we see Griffin come up with a big follow up after a missed free throw, and Drummond hook shot, snatches it off of them rim and put the 6-foot-11 Clint Capela on another Griffin highlight reel.

The Pistons’ efforts were not enough to stop the surging Rockets, although a great game. James Harden, this year’s scoring champion, torched the Pistons defense with a game-high 46 points and led his team to victory matched by the lengthy big man Capela who had an also impressive 22 points.

Griffin finished this game with another standout performance of 37 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists, followed by the big man Drummond who piled in a hefty 20 points and 11 rebounds.Even with stat lines like those it just was not enough to stop the MVP candidate of last year James Harden and his Rockets.
