The discovery of something new and exciting if one of sports greatest treasures. On this night, we found out that Drummond was going to matter in the NBA. Albeit, the best player for the Sixers then was Evan Turner. Regardless, Drummond put on a show that night and gave Pistons fans hope again.
Drummond has come a long way from that game though in terms of free throw shooting. Last year, he was 59 percent from the free throw line, which isn’t all that impressive. But considering he shot 7-for-18 from the free throw line against the Sixers, that 59 percent is 20 percent more efficient than he was in 2013.
Drummond led both the first quarter (12) and fourth quarter (10) in scoring for the game. His shot chart shows just how raw of an inside talent he was, making all but one of his baskets 1ft from the rim.
But, it still just wasn’t good enough to be the best game we’ve seen from Andre… which is..
