4. Nov. 8, 2015 – Win at Portland

The line: 14/19, 29 points, 27 rebounds, 3 blocks, 2 steals, 32.9 Game Score

It’s worth pointing out that two games earlier against the Pacers Drummond had 29 rebounds and still failed to make this top ten. For as much flack as Drummond gets nationally and from local fans, it’s almost unprecedented for a player to put up as many points and rebounds in one game as he did against the Blazers. In this one, he didn’t bother tying the other teams starters in rebounds, he beat them by five.

Hot. Acquiring Andre Iguodala would help Pistons step forward. light

This game featured one of the most incredible displays of lopsided basketball as you will see in the NBA. Going into the fourth quarter, the game was Portland up 92-79. Drummond put up a valiant effort in the third quarter with 16 points, but Detroit ended up losing the quarter 35-32. If Portland kept up this pace, the Pistons had no shot of winning. That is, until Jackson went on the scoring streak for a lifetime.

With 9:15 left in the fourth quarter, Jackson subbed in for Steve Blake with the score at 94-85. After just four minutes, Jackson ties the game 98-98 with 5:21 left. That bucket starts a streak of 16 points in a row for Jackson, part of his 26 points for the quarter. Portland went a full six minutes without scoring while only scoring 11 points for the fourth quarter. They had as many turnovers as they had points in the fourth quarter.

In total, Drummond had one of his most impressive games, although Jackson ended up stealing the show with a career-high 40 points.
