Who Should Start?

The Pistons roster seems deadlocked heading into training camp in late September. Of course, there is the possibility of adding another player to a non-guaranteed contract, but a drastic move would come as a surprise.

The starting rotation is rather predictable but the backend of the rotations is where the biggest competitions loom large. Here’s how it would shake out if I were the coach.

Starters: Reggie Jackson, Bruce Brown, Tony Snell, Blake Griffin, and Andre Drummond

Bench: Derrick Rose, Luke Kennard, Svi Mykhailiuk, Markieff Morris, Thon Maker

Spot Minutes/Reserves/Inactive: Tim Frazier, Langston Galloway, Khyri Thomas, Sekou Doumbouya, Michael Beasley

Now this isn’t to say that other players won’t step up. Injuries are a part of a long season so the reserves, and those earning spot minutes, could be thrusted into a larger role.
