Top 20 former Michigan State Spartans to play in the NBA

12. Gary Harris
Gary Harris has quietly strung together an impressive NBA career. Until this year, Harris had shown considerable improvement in his offensive game with each year. However, this year’s drop in his points-per-game average (a five-point drop from last year) paralleled a drop in minutes per game.
At 12.4 points per game over the course of his career, Harris is no doubt an asset as a role player. However, he has only played at least 60 games per year in two of his five NBA seasons, which means he’s spent most of his career flying under the radar.
Harris’ potential began to gain recognition last year with the Nuggets suddenly finding themselves as contenders for the Western Conference last year.
With the Nuggets’ recently-gained national attention in the wake of that success, look out for Harris’ continued improvement into a notable player.
