I know this trade has been talked about at length on PistonPowered, Twitter, Instagram, etc., so I won’t go in depth that much on this.

This is the normal trade, Drummond-for-D’Angelo Russell but I added in Willie Cauley-Stein for Thon Maker and a second rounder so that the Pistons have an actual center on the roster. WCS would be a good back up option if the Pistons go small ball with Griffin at the center or Cauley-Stein would be a very cost-effective replacement for Andre Drummond.

The Warriors would also get Thon Maker, who can shoot the three (30.7 percent) and at his size of 7-foot-1, the Warriors could convert him into their center for the future. That would have the Warriors rocking a lineup of Stephen Curry, Alec Burks, Alphonso McKinnie, Draymond Green and Drummond. One built around Curry, for Curry and will bring the Warriors back into their early dynasty days.
