Predicting the series
Game 1: Dec. 12, 9 p.m. at Arena Ciudad De Mexico
Game 2: April 11, 3 p.m. at American Airlines Center
Pistons fans will miss out on Doncic for a second straight year after he didn’t play in Detroit last season. This year’s “home” game will be played in Mexico and count as a Pistons home game.

Fortunately, neither game is part of a back-to-back but both are on road swings. The first is a three-game trip that starts in New Orleans and ends in Houston. The April contest is part of the Pistons’ brutal end to the year, featuring six road games over the last eight.
Predicting the series is tough with a late game because you never know what the injury situation is or what moves will be made at the deadline or if starters are resting because of the playoffs, or if a team will miss the playoffs.
Prediction: Dallas sweeps 2-0
