Detroit’s offense is going to have some tough sledding against the Pacers, who ranked third in points allowed per game last season. But with Oladipo out, Indiana won’t have one of its leaders who impacts both ends of the court.
That will give the Pistons some opportunities to make up any ground lost by the starters with the second unit. Rose, Kennard and Morris will be x-factors in this series.
Prediction: Teams split 2-2
Indiana is still a quality squad and have as good of a starting unit as any in the Eastern Conference, though the names may not ‘wow’ people like the Boston Celtics or Milwaukee Bucks.
