Drummond and Stafford’s impressive accolades
Drummond and Stafford have been on sub-par teams throughout their respective careers.
However, both Detroit stars are putting together Hall of Fame-worthy individual careers.
Rebounding Phenom
For Drummond, he is well-known for his rebounding ability and has set himself apart as one of the NBA’s best centers at a young age and has been recognized for it:
- 2x NBA All-Star
- 3x Rebounding Champion
- 1x All-NBA Third Team
- 2012-13 All-Rookie Team
He has not slowed down as he is just entering his physical prime and is finally surrounded by a talented team featuring the likes of Griffin.
At 26-years-old, Drummond is coming off one of the best seasons of his career:
- 17.5 points per game: Career-high
- 15.6 rebounds per game: League-best
- 1.7 steals: Career-high
- 5.9 Defensive Win Shares: League-best
Drummond, who is totaling around 1,200 rebounds per season, is on pace to be in the top 30 in all-time rebounds in the NBA by the time he turns 30 if he continues this run.

Stafford’s numbers are that of a quarterback being controlled by a 13-year-old kid playing Madden some seasons.
In his first, full, 16-game season in 2011, he passed for 5,038 yards and 41 touchdowns – both career highs that led the team into their first playoff appearance since 1999.
Stafford averages 274 yards per game for his career, ranking third all-time behind Drew Brees and the recently retired Andrew Luck.
At 38,911 yards to begin the 2019 season, he is sitting 21st All-Time in total passing.
Should he reach 4,000 or more yards in his 11th season, he will pass the likes of Johnny Unitas and Joe Montana on that all-time list.
Despite the numbers, Stafford has only been selected to the Pro-Bowl once in his career (2014).
