2. Blake Griffin

Blake Griffin made the All-NBA Third Team last season, which was arguably the best season of his career. He’s a complete player that averaged 24.5 points, 7.5 rebounds and 5.4 assists per game.

He made 189 three’s last season after making 191 in the previous eight seasons of his career. The emphasis on 3-pointers and his success rate of 36.2 percent has increased his scoring, despite a significant drop in field goal percentage from 49.3 percent two seasons ago down to 46.2 percent last season.

The drop in percentage should be expected as he attempted more shots from 3-point range than ever before. But his 58.1 true shooting percentage is the highest since his 2013-14 season.

He continues to prove to be one of the elite players in the NBA and has drawn comparisons to legendary Larry Bird, in terms of numbers and not the way he plays. That suggests that he has the potential to be better than the 38th ranking on the draft board by ESPN. Last season he earned 1,777 fantasy points and could have had more given he missed several games down the stretch push with a knee injury.

He’s expected to be healthy and should be a staple to any fantasy team looking to win a championship as one of the five main players.
