Detroit Pistons vs. Phoenix Suns 2019-20 season preview
Series prediction
Game 1: Feb. 5, 7 p.m. at Little Caesars Arena
Game 2: Feb. 28, 9 p.m. at Talking Stick Resort Arena
This series should be easy to predict but that isn’t always the case. The meetings are in the meet of the season where rosters change and injuries occur. It’s a prime load management time.

But the Pistons need to play to win both games, especially considering the first meeting is sandwiched between road games in Memphis and Oklahoma City. It’s also the first “break” as part of a critical stretch in late January and into early February.
The return trip is the third of four road games on the second West coast swing. There are two days off after playing Denver and before the meeting in the desert, which should help.
Prediction: Pistons sweep 2-0
The circumstances of the matchups could change but at the beginning of the year, on paper, the series still favors Detroit.
