The NBA season is around the corner and the Detroit Pistons look to improve on a playoff appearance. Here’s your one-stop shop for player and team previews.

The Detroit Pistons had a busy offseason that consisted of making the most of a less than desirable salary cap situation. Signing Derrick Rose and Markieff Morris were highlights. Though it may not pay off initially, the selection of Sekou Doumbouya leaves limitless potential for the Pistons down the line.

But the goal was to improve on a 41-41 season that landed the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference. It appears that Detroit has done that, a credit to senior advisor Ed Stefanski and head coach Dwane Casey on their roster decisions.
