XVI. Sekou Doumbouya
The expectations for Sekou Doumbouya’s career are high but for the 2019-20 season they should not be. He isn’t expected to get much run, unless something drastically changes. So Pistons fans can likely look forward to Doumbouya’s highlights with the Grand Rapids Drive as the 18-year-old adjusts to the speed and physicality.
But his 6-foot-9, 230-pound frame fits a mold unseen by many. He’s big enough to bang as a power forward and agile enough to play on the wing. The Pistons believe they have a special young talent and Dwane Casey’s staff is in charge of developing him into a budding star.
