What to expect
It looks like the Pistons and Magic have different strategies entering tonight’s game. Orlando played 19 of their 20 rostered players in the preseason opener against the San Antonio Spurs. Steve Clifford said he plans to tighten that up. He’ll probably be looking at potential rotations and seeing how players fit together with different lineups.
On the other hand, Dwane Casey is more likely to allow the younger players to play. He even said so after Saturday’s scrimmage, including to not take stock in what happens on Monday night.
That changes things from a Daily Fantasy Sports perspective for those looking to play preseason games. There are three other games in addition to this one, which makes for strong value plays at minimum-level salaries.
