The highest-priced point guards on the DraftKings slate are Trae Young ($8,000) and Jrue Holiday ($6,900). On FanDuel it’s Young ($8,800), Elfrid Payton ($7,800) and then Reggie Jackson ($6,200).
That is not good value for a player that may get 20 minutes maximum. The odds he reaches 31FDFP are very unlikely. However on DraftKings at $4,600, he is worth a look with a possibility to reach 23 DKFP.
Value
DK: Markelle Fultz ($4,500 – value at 22.5 DKFP) or Michael Carter-Williams ($4,100 – value at 20.5 DKFP)
FD: Michael Carter-Williams ($3,500 – value at 17.5 FDFP) or Derrick Rose ($3,500)
Fultz is on a comeback trail that Rose has been battling for years. He took eight shots and scored six points to go with four assists, two steals and two rebounds. He played 17 minutes running the second unit, which can be expected again so the two will likely be matched up against each other.

Carter-Williams played a team-high 20 minutes against the Spurs with 13 points, six rebounds, four steals and two assists. That not only hits value but exceeds it by a wide margin on either platform.
Rose can be an electric scorer and with the ball in his hands, he could reach double figures in scoring in a limited sample size. The Pistons may experience with smaller lineups against a lengthy Magic team He thrives with the ball in his hands.
Fades
DraftKings: With the minimum salary on DraftKings at $4,000, the players I’d fade at point guard are Jordan Bone, Josh Magette, Vic Law and Hassani Gravett. Everyone else is in play, though the favorites are listed above.
FanDuel: The minimum salary on FanDuel is $3,500, which is why Carter-Williams and Rose are the only two players I’d seriously consider in this contest. DJ Augustin ($4,500) is an intriguing option but I’d spend my money on Carter-Williams or Rose. Everyone else is out of play.
