Derrick Rose hit a game-winner to give the Detroit Pistons a much-needed win this week. Here is how it stacks up with other game-winners in his career.

Derrick Rose hit his first buzzer-beater with the Detroit Pistons adding to his lengthy resume of clutch shots, from step-back daggers to high-flying floaters over 7-foot centers.

With a turn-around, 15-foot jumper to sink the New Orleans Pelicans, Rose showed the sports world once again that he has ice in his veins, providing a stark reminder about his clutch gene.

“Excuse my English, but I’m born to do this s—, dead serious,” Rose said in his post-game interview.  “This is what I do.  That’s one of the reasons that they brought me here.”

The former MVP has been hitting big shots since he was playing high school ball at Simeon Career Academy, exemplified by when he sunk the dagger to win a state championship for his hometown Wolverines in 2006.  Fast forward 13 years later from 2006 to Dec. 9, 2019, Rose turned back the clock as he continues to come through in the clutch, this time as a Piston.  As the Chicago Bulls color commentator Stacey King would say, “Big-time players make big-time plays.”  King showed his support of the former Bull on Twitter after Rose’s recent game winner:

With his recent late-game heroics, we rank the 10 best game winners of Rose’s career.
